A. There is a wide array of supports and services available for elderly residents in Edina. Some low cost and some market rate. Give us a call to discuss or make an appointment and we can go over options with you.
Q. I’m currently unemployed – are there resources available for me?
A. Yes, there are resume writing and job search resources available at no cost to suburban residents. We have brochures available in our office to assist you or we can email information to you.
Q. I have furniture and other household items to donate – can you help me find a place that will take them?
A. Yes, we have a list of agencies in the area that will pick up or will take donations. Give us a call and we can email or mail the list to you.
Q. I looked in the phone book for a foodshelf in Edina and couldn’t find one – is there one?
A. The food shelf serving Edina is called Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People (VEAP). We have other options to assist your food needs as well – so give us a call.
Q. I currently have no health or dental insurance – where can I go?
A. There are sliding fee clinics in the metro area. We can give you names, addresses and phone numbers for the one nearest you. We can also help you access information and applications for Medical Assistance programs you may be eligible for. |
